AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT
AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES BETWEEN CITY OF
ALAMEDA AND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, the City is a participant in the Community
Development Block Program authorized under the Housing and Com-
munity Development Act of 1974, as amended, and;
WHEREAS, the City has engaged the Alameda Chamber of
Commerce to render technical assistance in support of the City's
economic development activities under the Community Development
Block Grant Program, and;
WHEREAS, the Chamber repre

WHEREAS, the parties do - mutually agree to amend the
Contract Agreement entered into on July 7;' 1982 to provide addi-
tional services as described in the Amendment to Contract for
Professional Services;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of
the City of Alameda, that proposed Amendment to Contract for
Professional Services between the City and the Alameda Chamber
of Commerce, said Amendment to be substantially in the form of
that on file in the office of the City Clerk.
