APPROPRIATING $15,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO FUND
THE CENTRAL PERMIT OFFICE FROM JANUARY 1, 1983,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 1983
WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 16, 1982, this Council
approved plans to implement Assembly Bill 941 which requires the
City to establish a central permit office, on or before January
1, 1983, as set forth in Section 65913.3 of the Government Code
of the State of California;
WHEREAS, in order to support the costs of a Central Permit
Office from January 1, 1983, through June 30, 1983, $15,000 is
required to be appropriated in the current fiscal year from the
General Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that $15,000 be and hereby is appropriated in the current
fiscal year from the General Fund to fund the Central Permit Office
from January 1, 1983, through June 30, 1983.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of December, 1932,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
