AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT
FOR TIIE GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, funds are available in the 1982 -83 fiscal year
budget for the purchase of a greensmower., an aerator and a
3 -wheel Cushman style scooter for the Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a formal bid procedure
would not be cost effective for the purchase of this specialized
equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3 -15 of the City Charter the
Director of Recreation and Parks is hereby authorized to negotiate
and purchase a Triplex Greensmower, a Ryan Greensaire and a Cushman
Scooter on the open market.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of December, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Di8ment, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - G.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: MOne,
