APPROVING COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF 185 UNITS OF CONVENTIONAL
LOW PENT SENIOR CITIZEN' HOUSING AT THE POPE /WEBSTER
STREET SITE OF MAKASSAR STRAITS VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a proposed Cooperation Agreement between the
City of Alameda and the Housing Authority of the City of
Alameda, relating to the development of 185 units of conventional
low rent senior citizen housing at the Pope /Webster Street
site of Makassar Straits Village, heretofore approved and
adopted by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority, has
been submitted to this Council and the Council is fully informed
and aware of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said Cooperation Agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that
certain Cooperation Agreement referred to above by and between
the City of Alameda and the Housing Authority of the City of
Alameda relating to the development of 185 units of conventional
low rent senior citizen housing at the Pope /Webster Street
site of Makassar Straits Village. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, het;‘ehv certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of January, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen DiameDt, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
