REAPPROPRIATION OF COUNTY SUPPORT FUNDS
FOR FERNS= BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reappropriate certain funds
in the "County Support Funds for City Streets" for the Fernside
Boulevard Extension project; and
WHEREAS, said Fund has a balance of $204,000.66 for
the outstanding project of reconstruction of Buena Vista Avenue
from Entrance Road to St. Charles Street; and
WHEREAS, the City's Pavement Management Program indicates
that the Buena Vista Avenue project can be accomplished by
heavy resurfacing and restoration rather than by reconstruction;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby authorizes the
reappropriation of County Support Funds in the amount of
$204,000.66 from the Buena Vista Avenue from Entrance Road
to St. Charles Street Project to the Fernside Boulevard Extension
from Encinal Avenue to Otis Drive Project.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of January, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
