AMENDING THE 1982-1983 BUDGET TO REFLECT THE REDUCTION
OF THE EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
RETIREMENT SYSTEM
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9939 adopted on December
7, 1982, this Council amended the fiscal year 1982-1983 budget
for the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, in order to account for the reduction of the
employer contribution to the Public Employees Retirement System
for january-June, 1983, it is necessary to amend the 1982-1983
budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the budget for the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year 1982-1983 is hereby amended by reducing the amount thereof
by $251,574, and the total amount appropriated for the fiscal
year 1982-1983 shall be as follows:
