AWARDING CONTRACT TO RODDING CLEANING
MACHINES, INC., FOR BEACH ROAD SANITARY
SEWER REHABILITATION AND AUTHORIZING EX-
ECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the Beach Road Sanitary
Sewer Rehabilitation in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 1-83-1, approved January 18, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Rodding Cleaning Machines, Inc. agreeing
to perform said work in accordance with said Specificat-
ions for the sum of $51,909.33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and
that its proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Rodding Clean-
ing Machines, Inc, be accepted, the contract for the Beach
Road Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation be awarded to said
bidder, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the
City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of March, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, ,Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:
None.
