CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10002
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORT-
ATION DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983 - 1984
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA1, as
amended (Pub. Util. Code c.99200 et seg.), provides for the dis-
bursement of funds from the Local Transportation Fund of the
County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the purpose of
paratransit services for the elderly and handicapped; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the TDA, as amended,
and pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder
(2) Cal. Adm. Code 56600 et seg;), a prespective cladMant-:-WtShIlag
to receive an allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall
file its claim with the Metroplitan Transportation Commission:

WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of
Alameda County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year
1983-84 for paratransit services for the elderly and handicapped;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager of the city of Alameda or his
designee is hereby authorized to execute and file an appropriate
claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Development
Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations
promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting]
documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for
an allocation of TDA funds in Fiscal Year 1983-84;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in con-
junction with the filing of the Claim, and the Metropolitan Trans-
portation Commission be requested to grant the allocations of
funds as specified herein.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of March, 1983,
