AUTHORIZING THE LEASE/PURCHASE OF A XEROX ELECTRONIC
5600 MODEL COPY MACHINE
WHEREAS, studies have been conducted which indicate the
City's need for upgrading its reproduction equipment; and
WHEREAS, an evaluation committee, following a demonstration,
agreed that the Xerox Electronic 5600 Model would adequately meet
reproduction needs, and would increase work productivity and pro-
vide options not presently available; and
WHEREAS, the lease/purchase of a Xerox electronic 5600
Model copy machine would not cause any substantial increase in
fiscal costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to
negotiate a lease/purchase agreement for the purchase of a Xerox
Electronic 5600 Model Copy Machine, pursuant to Section 3-15 of
the City Charter.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular adjourned meeting assembled on the
26th day of April, 1933, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt and President Corica 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Stone.
