AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR
DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN CITY AND CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT
OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS IN CONNECTION WITH SMALL
BOAT RAMP AND FISHING BREAKWATER
WHEREAS, on April 3, 1978, the City and the California
Department of Boating and Waterways (DBAW) and the California
Department of Fish and Came (DFG) entered into a Cooperative Agree-
ment for Development of the Small Boat Ramp and Fishing Break-
water; and
WHEREAS, for State administrative and financial processing
procedural purposes DBAW has requested that the Cooperative Agree-
ment be amended to extend the date of acceptance and to include
a metes and bounds description of the final dredged area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Cooperative Agreement for Development, Alameda
Public Access Project, entered into on April 3, 1978, between
the California Department of Boating and Waterways, the California
Department of Fish and Came and the City of Alameda is hereby
amended as follows:
1. ARTICLE IV, A. is amended to read:
The OPERATOR shall accept construction of the
Project no later than May 1, 1984.
2. A metes and bounds description of the final dredging
area, a copy of which is attached hereto as "Exhibit
A", is hereby made a part of said Cooperative Agree-
ment.

DREDGING AREA FOR THE SMALL BOAT RAMP
ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA
Situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, a strip
or parcel of land, 100 feet wide, lying 50 feet on each side of the following
described line;
COMMENCING at the southeastern corner of Lot 2 . in Section 10, Township 2
South, Range 4 West, Mt Diablo Base and Meridian, as shown on "Map
No 2 of Salt Harsh and Tide Lands situate in the County of Alameda,
State of California, 1871 ", certified copies thereof having been filed
with the County Recorder of the City and County of San Francisco, and
in the office of the Department of Finance, Division of State Lands, as
said corner is described in that certain lease between City of Alameda
and the United States of Amerioa, numbered NO (R) 54077, executed
July 1, 1955, as amended June 6, 1981, and recorded August 20,
under Series No® 81- 142038, in the office of the Alameda County
Reeorder;
THENCE South 16 °20'15" East, 124 ®71 feet to the TRUE POINT OF GIN ING of
this description;
THENCE South 18 °36'43" East, 1325,00 feet to the terminus,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular adjourned meeting assembled on the
26th day of April, 1983, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Stone.
