AWARDING CONTRACT TO MOUNTAIN CASCADE, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 81-1 STORM DRAIN
LINE A AND B AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the construction of Assess-
ment District 81-1 Storm Drain Line A and B, in accordance with
Specifications P.W. 7-82-12, approved April 5, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Mountain Cascade, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $107,910.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Mountain Cascade,
Inc. is hereby accepted, the contract for the construction of
Assessment District 81-1 Storm Drain Line A and B is hereby awarded
to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute,
and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City
of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of May, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
