APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 3722 FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED WEST OF ISLAND DRIVE BETWEEN THE HARBOR BAY
ISLE RECREATION CENTER AND AMELIA EARHART SCHOOL,
PERMITTING RECORDING THEREOF AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN
EASEMENTS AND A PARCEL OF LAND DEDICATED TO THE CITY
AND THE PUBLIC (HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Harbor Bay Isle Associates, a partnership, com-
prised of Doric Development, Inc., a California corporation,
and Bay Farm Island, Inc., a Nevada corporation, subdivider
herein, has presented to the Council for approval a Parcel Map
for a division of Lot "B" of Tract 4254 to create four parcels,
and known as Parcel Map No. 3722; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon non-exclusive
easements for public utilities and their appurtenances, designated
"Public Utilities Easement" and dedicated to the public; and
rights of access over public utilities easements for public
safety vehicles and emergency equipment and a certain parcel
of land designated as "Emergency Access Easement" for operation
of public safety vehicles and emergency equipment dedicated
to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No. 3722 is hereby approved and
permission given to subdivider to record same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said non-exclusive easements
for public utilities dedicated to the public are hereby accepted,
on behalf of the public, and said rights of access and "Emergency
Access Easement" dedicated to the City, are hereby accepted
on behalf of the City, for use in conformity with the terms
of the offers of dedication.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of May, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:None.
