ACCEPTING DEED FOR PROPERTY FROM THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY
ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR
STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES - PATTON WAY
WHEREAS, that certain Deed dated March 30, 1983, transfer-
ring certain lands by the United States of America, acting by
and through the Department of Transportation, Federal Highway
Administration, to the City of Alameda for street and highway
purposes, has been executed and delivered by the Department to
the City; and
WHEREAS, said Deed appropriates, remises, releases, quit-
claims and transfers to the City for street and highway purposes
that certain parcel of land situated in the City of Alameda,
necessary in connection with the construction of Patton Way, and
fully described in said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the aforementioned Deed is hereby accepted on
behalf of the City of Alameda and said Council, acting for and
on behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of
said Deed and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as
required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State
of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of May, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:None.
