APPROVING PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW
CORPORATION YARD, CALLING FOR REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, preliminary plans have been prepared for the
construction of a new Corporation Yard and are on file in the
office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, a recommended financing plan for this project
has been prepared by the Public Works Director and submitted
to the Council in his report of April 25, 1983;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the preliminary plans be, and the same are, hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for proposals for the Construction of the New Corporation
Yard in accordance with the Request for Proposals, a copy of
which document may be obtained by any prospective bidder on
application to the Public Works Director, at his office in the
City Hall, Alameda, California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of May, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Diament, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT:None.
