Resolution 10048CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10048 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR RAILROAD CROSSING RELOCATION FROM WORK STREET TO MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY NORTH AND APPROVING SAID PROJECT WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best entrance into the Marina Village Project will be accomplished by the relocation of the Work Street crossing of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company tracks; and. WHEREAS, the Environmental Assessment Committee has reviewed this project and found it to be categorically exempt under Section 15101(c) and (d) of the Guidelines for the Implementation of CEOA; and WHEREAS, on May 9, 1983, the Planning Board found Parcel Map No. 3963 and Development Plan in conformance with the overall Master Plan and previous approvals for the Alameda Marina Villacre Project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Project for the Railroad Crossing Relo- cation from Work Street to Marina Village Parkway North is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized for and on behalf of the City of Alameda to make application to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California for an order authorizing the relocation of a grade crossing of Work Street (Marina Village Parkway) over and across the tracks of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company's right-cf-way in the City of Alameda. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of May, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament 5.
