Resolution 10064CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10064 APPOINTING HADI MONSEF TO OFFICE OF COUNCILMEMBER WHEREAS, a vacancy existed in an elective office, to wit, a Councilmember, by virtue of Anne Diament being elected to the office of Mayor, thereby vacating her position of Councilmember on May 17, 1983. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Sections 2-7 and 2-8 of the Charter of the City of Alameda, HADI MONSEF was, on May 17, 1983. appointed to the office of Councilmember, for a term commencing May 17, 1983, and to continue until 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the third Tuesday in May following the next General Municipal Election, at which a successor shall be elected in accordance with the provisions of said Charter. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in an adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 10th of June, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: COunCflmember5 Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, and President Dio0ent - 4.
