Resolution 10067CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10067 AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATIONS TO THE ECONOMIC ADMINISTRATION JOBS ACT PROJECT WHEREAS, The Economic Development Administration has available $100 million in the EDA Jobs Act Project for use in public works and capital expenditure projects; and WHEREAS, the EDA Jobs Act Project has declared the City of Alameda eligible to apply for and receive such funds pursuant to Federal Register, Vol. 48, No. 84, April 29, 1983, Pg.19436&7; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda recognizes the need for such funding assistance in five pending projects. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA that the City Manager is authorized to submit applications to the EDA Jobs Act Project to secure federal funds for projects which are eligible under the appropriate federal guidelines. Such appli- cations are to be completed according to EDA requirements and format, N—_and shall be submitted to the EDA Jobs Act Project in Washington, D.C. no later than June 30, 1983 0 * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in an Adjourned Regular Meeting assembled on June 10, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
