AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PARCEL MAP AGREEMENT WITH
ENCINAL INDUSTRIES, INC. RELATING TO INTERSECTION
DESIGN, ENTRANCE MODIFICATION AND PARKING IN
CONJUNCTION WITH SUBDIVISION OF PARCEL MAP 2938
WHEREAS, Encinal Industries, Incorporated, a California
corporation, has presented Parcel Map No. 2938 to the Council
for approval; and
WHEREAS, approval of said Parcel Map was conditioned on
Encinal Industries, Incorporated entering into an agreement with
the-City\to cover future intersection improvements at Sherman
Street, Pacific Marina Drive and the Atlantic Avenue extension,
the circulation plan for the truck queuing facility, and provision
of adequate parking on the various parcels to be created; and
WHEREAS, a proposed Agreement has been submitted to this
Council, and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms
and conditions thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Encinal Industries, In-
corporated and the City of Alameda to cover intersection improvements
at Sherman Street, Pacific Avenue and the Atlantic Avenue extension,
the circulation plan for the truck queuing facility, and provision
of adequate parking on the various parcels to be created in connec-
tion with Parcel Map No. 2938. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in an Adjourned Regular Meeting assembled on June 10, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
