AUTHORIZING CONTINUATION OF CITY OPERATIONS PRIOR
TO APPROVAL OF THE FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR
1983-1984
WHEREAS, revenues for fiscal year 1983-1984 cannot be
established at this time; and
WHEREAS, it is not practical to establish a budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of
the City of Alameda until such time as revenues have been
established;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
\ ,\v CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Council hereby appropriates from
those revenues receivable for the next fiscal year sufficient
sums for the purpose of meeting the cost of salaries and wages,
maintenance and operations, and for equipment and other capital
outlay for each department prior to approval of the final budget
for fiscal year 1983-84.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of June, 1983,
by the following vote to viit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
