Resolution 10075CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10075 AWARDING CONTRACT TO DAWSON AND J.R.'S CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1984, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore published notice calling for bids for Minor Street Patching with Asphalt Concrete for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1984, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 5-83-7, approved May 17, 1983; and WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted by Dawson and J.R.'s Construction, Inc. agreeing to perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $2.75 per square foot. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that its proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Dawson and J.R's Construction, Inc. be accepted, the contract for minor street patching with asphalt concrete for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1984 be awarded to said bidder, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of June, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 1.
