AWARDING CONTRACT TO GEORGE JARDIN FOR THE REPAIR
OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, CURB, AND DRIVEWAY
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1984 AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice callinc for bids for the Repair of Portland
Cement Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, and Driveway for the Fiscal Year
ending June 30, 1984, in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 5-83-7, approved May 17, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by George Jardin agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $46,275.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of George Jardin be
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of June, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 1.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
