AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A REVISED URBAN DEVELOPMENT
ACTION GRANT APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE ALAMEDA
MARINA VILL=AGE ASSOCIATES PROPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has been designated as eligible
to apply for U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development,
Urban Development Action Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Alameda Marina Village Associates
proposal meets the criteria for the utilization of Urban Development
Action Grant funds and is viewed by the City .as important in pro-
viding needed stimulation both of jobs and aconomic development with
the City, along with affording an improved tax base for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager be authorized and directed to
(1) file the revised UDAG application in conjunction with the Alameda
Marina Village Associates proposal; (2) make such assurances and
certifications as are required on behalf of the City; (3) negotiate
such contracts and agreements as are required with the HUD and/or
Alameda Marina Village Associates proposal sponsors; and (4) supply
such other information and materials as may be requested.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of June, 1983,
