APPOINTING THE FORMATION COMMITTEE FOR THE CERTIFIED
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda has approved
of the establishment of the. Certified Development Corporation at a
regularly scheduled meeting on April 5, 1983; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to have a Formation Committee to
direct the establishment of the Certified Development Corporation
as recommended by the Small Business Administration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the execution of a
contract with the Chamber of Commerce to provide technical assis-
tance to the formation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Economic Development Committee has
submitted a list of nominees to serve on the Formation Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA, that the individuals whose names and addresses
are listed below are appointed to serve as the Formation Committee
for the Certified Development Corporation.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of June, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 1.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
