AWARDING CONTRACT TO RODONI-BECKER CO., INC. FOR
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE IN TEE POLICE
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Mechanical Systems
Maintenance in the Police Administration Building for the Fiscal
Year 1983-84, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 6-83-11,
approved June 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Rodoni-Becker Co., Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$9,600.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that
its proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Rodoni-Becker
Co., Inc. be and hereby is accepted, the contract for Mechanical
Systems Maintenance in the Police Administration Building for
the Fiscal Year 1983-84 is hereby awarded to said bidder, and
the Mayor is authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of July, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Cnuncilmcmbers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, onsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
