AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT AMONG
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT,
AND ALAMEDA SWIMMING POOL ASSOCIATION RELATING TO
THE ALAMEDA AND ENCINAL SWIM CENTERS
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 10026 adopted April 26,
1983 this Council authorized the execution of an agreement between
the City of Alameda, Alameda Unified School District, and Alameda
Swimming Pool Association for the operation and maintenance of
the Alameda and Encinal Swim Centers; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested that said agreement be
amended to eliminate the requirement of review and approval by
an Oversight Committee of fees charged to the public; and
WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to said Agreement has been
submitted to this Council, and the Council is fully informed
and aware of the terms thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorised and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
Amendment to the City Agreement with the Alameda Unified' School
District and the Alameda Swimming Pool Association for operation
and maintenance of the Alameda Swim Center and the Encinal Swim
Center to eliminate the requirement of review and approval by
an Oversight Committee of fees to be charged for public access.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same.
I, the undersigned,tereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of July, 1983^
by the following vote to wit:
