AWARDING CONTRACT TO BRINKS, INCORPORATED FOR COIN
COLLECTION OF ON AND OFF STREET PARKING METERS AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Coin Collection of On and
Off Street Parking Meters within the City in accordance with
Specifications and Plans No. MSP 5-83-1, approved on June 7,
1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Brinks, Incorporated agreeing to the collection of
coins from on and off street parking meters in accordance with
said Specifications for the sum of 42 cents per meter collection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Brinks, Incorporated be and hereby
is accepted, the contract for coin collection of on and off street
parking meters within the City of Alameda is hereby awarded to
said bidder and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract cn behalf of the City
:V of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of August, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
