APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1983 -1984, APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONEYS FOR THE
EXPENDITURES PROVIDED` IN SAID BUDGET FOR SAID FISCAL
YEAR AND RATIFYING CERTAIN EXPENDITURES HERETOFORE
MADE
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this
Council, at this meeting, a budget representing a financial plan
for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1983 and ending June 30, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said budget as submitted to this Council at this
meeting, and each and every part thereof, be, and the same is
hereby, approved and adopted as the budget for the City of Alameda
for the fiscal year 1983 -1984; and that the expenditures of the
various sums of money therein provided to be spent for salaries
and wages, maintenance and operation, and capital outlay, by
each department as therein listed in detail, are hereby approved
and authorized in total, by the above object classification,
as the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1984.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total amount appropriated
for the fiscal year 1983 -1984 shall be as follows:

GOLF FUND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
SEWER SERVICE

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such expenditures as may have
been made by the several departments, divisions, offices and
boards of the City after the beginning of the fiscal year
1983 -1984 and prior to the adoption of this resolution, and have
been or may be duly approved by the Finance Director are hereby
ratified, confirmed and approved, and shall be respectively
charged against the appropriations herein and in said budget
provided for.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of August, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
ABSENT: None.
