AWARDING CONTRACT TO M. F. MAHER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF WHEELCHAIR RAMPS, PHASE 2, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the construction of Wheel
Chair Ramps, Phase 2, in accordance with Specifications
No. P.W. 5-83-9, approved June 21, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by M. F. Maher agreeing to perform said work in accor-
dance with said Specifications for the sum of $47,833.75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of M. F. Maher be
and herby is accepted, the contract for the construction of Wheel--
chair Ramps, Phase 2, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of August, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS, WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
