ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATION LIMITS AS REQUIRED BY
PROPOSITION NO. 4 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-'1984
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIIIB of the Constitution
of the State of California, the City Council of the City of
Alameda is required to establish an 'Appropriation Limit for
fiscal year 1983-1984; and
WHEREAS, the Appropriation Limit has been determined
in accordance with uniform guidelines for Article XIIIB of the
California Constitution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby establishes an Appro-
priation Limit in the amount of $22,855,201 for fiscal year
1983-1984.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of August, 1983, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
