AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR
PURCHASE OF SERVICES WITH AUTO-GRAPHICS, INC. FOR
LIBRARY CATALOG PRODUCTION
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1982, by its Resolution 9703 this
Council authorized an agreement between the Counties of Contra
Costa and Alameda, the City of Alameda and Auto-Graphics, Inc.
for services in connection with the production and maintenance
of a Library Cooperative Catalog; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 3 of said contract provides for an
extension of the contract; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that said
contract be extended from July 1, 1983, to June 30, 1984, unless
sooner terminated as provided in the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Extension of Contract for Purchases of Services
between the Counties of Contra Costa and Alameda, the City of
Alameda and Auto--Graphics, Inc. for the continued preparation
of library catalogs is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract
on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of September, 1983, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas., Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
