AWARDING CONTRACT TO MJB PIPELINE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 81-1 HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK
NORTHERLY STORM DRAIN SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the construction of a
Northerly Storm Drain. System, Assessment District 81-1, in accor-
dance with Specifications No. 7-83-15, approved August 2, 1983;
and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was submitted
by MJB PIPELINE agreeing to perform said work in accordance with
said Specifications for the sum of $78,504.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and that its
porposal is the lowest and best bid received; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of MJB Pipeline is
accepted, the contract for the construction of Assessment District
81-1 Harbor Bay Business Park Northerly Storm Drain System is awarded
to said bidder, and the Mayor hereby is authorized to execute,
o and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City
- of Alameda.

I, the undersi=gned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of September, 1983, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas., Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
