Resolution 10153CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10153 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND PROVISIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA PROPOSALS FOR THE TOWING OF PRIVATE VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda Proposals for the Towing of Vehicles within the City of Alameda for a three year period commencing November 1, 1983 and ending September 30, 1986, No. MSP 8-83-2, filed in the office of the City Clerk on September 6, 1983, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed proposals up to the hour of 1100 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 1983, for furnishing to the City of said proposals for towing of private vehicles within the City. Proposals must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for the Towing of Vehicles," or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro- visions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of. said Specifications and Provisions. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of September, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 7th day of September, 1983.
