AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH BALLENA ISLE
MARINA RELATING TO ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE INSTALLATION
COST OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE CORNERS OF CENTRAL AVENUE,
BALLENA BOULEVARD AND FOURTH STREET
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with Ballena Isle Marina,
a limited partnership, setting forth terms and conditions for its
contribution to the installation cost of the traffic signals to
be installed at the corners of Central Avenue, Ballena Boulevard
and Fourth Street, has been submitted to this Council, and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that said agreement be entered into
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Ballena Isle Marina
and the City of Alameda, relating to Ballena Isle Marina's contribu-
tion to the installation cost of traffic signals at the corners
of Central Avenue, Ballena Boulevard and Fourth Street. The City
Clerk is hereby directed to attest tc same.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th of September, 1983, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Gorman - 1.
