Resolution 10168CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10168
AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF THREE USED CARS
FOR THE CITY'S CAR POOL
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Equipment Replacement
Fund for the purchase of three used cars for use in the City's car
pool; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that used vehicles are
available which can be acquired at a considerable savings to the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the
Public Works Director is hereby authorized to negotiate and purchase
on the open market three (3) used cars for use in the City's car
pool.
This is to certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of October, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
