AWARDING CONTRACT TO KENNEDY/JENKS ENGINEERS FOR THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
DESIGN OF PHASE II AND PHASE III, ALTERNATE H, OF THE
NORTHSIDE STORM DRAIN AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bid proposals for Northside Storm
Drain Plans and Specifications for Alternate H, Phases II and
III, in accordance with the Ncrthside Storm Drain Study; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Kennedy/Jenks Engineers agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with the Northside Storm Drain Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said firm is a responsible bidder and the best
suited company to perform the work;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid proposal of Kennedy/Jenks
Engineers is hereby accepted, the contract for the Preparation
of Plans and Specifications for the Design of Phase II and Phase
III, Alternate H, of the Northside Storm Drain is hereby awarded
to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute,
and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City
of Alameda.
This is to certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of October, 1983,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
