CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 10177
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF AN APPLICATION FOR
URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FUNDS ON BEHALF OF
REVOIR DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
WHEREAS: The City of Alameda is eligible to apply for
and receive Urban Development Development Action Grand funds from
the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS: The Revoir Development Company plans an office
and commercial development known as Mariner Gate upon currently
vacant land, zoned M -2 in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS: James Revoir, President of the Revoir Development
Company has requested that the City of Alameda apply for Urban
Development Action Grant funds to assist in the overall financing of
the proposed project;
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that staff is directed
to prepare an application for Urban Development Action Grant funds
on behalf of Revoi r Development Company, and to employ any necessary
consultant services which are mutually agreed upon by the City
Manager and Revoir Development Company.
This is to certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of October
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, onsef and
NOES
Council member Lucas
ABSENT:
None.
