ACCEPTING EASEMENTS FROM HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES
FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY, PUBLIC PATHWAY AND STREET LIGHTING
WITHIN PARCEL 1 OF PARCEL MAP NO. 4043, HARBOR BAY
ISLE PARKWAY
WHEREAS, a certain Grant of Easement dated August 2, 1983,
granted by Harbor Bay Isle Associates, a Partnership, to the City
of Alameda for a right-of-way for public street purposes within
Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 4043, and fully described in said Grant
of Easement as Parcel 1, has been executed and delivered by the
Grantor to the City; and
WHEREAS, a certain Grant of Easement dated August 2, 1983,
granted by Harbor Bay Isle Associates, a Partnership, to the City
of Alameda for a right-of-way for public pathway purposes and a
right-of-way for street lighting purposes within Parcel 1 of Parcel
Map No. 4043, and fully described in said Grant of Easement as
Parcel A and Parcel B, has been executed and delivered by the
Grantor to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that said
Grants of Easement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the aforementioned Grants of Easement, dated August
2, 1983, granted by Harbor Bay Isle Associates, a Partnership,
to the City of Alameda for right-of-way, public pathway and street
lighting within Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 4043, are hereby accepted
on behalf of the City of Alameda and said Council, acting for and
on behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said
Grants of Easements and orders this resolution to be attached
thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of
the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed
by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 18th of October, 1983, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Counci_lmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
