AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TOWING OF PRIVATE VEHICLES
WITHIN THE CITY TO TED & JOE'S TOWING AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for towing of private vehicles
within the City in accordance with Specifications No. MSP 8-83-2
approved. September 6, 1983; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Ted and Joe's Towing, a co-partnership, agreeing to
perform towing service of private vehicles within the City of
Alameda in accordance with said Specifications; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and the proposal
submitted is the best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of Ted and Joe's Towing is hereby accepted,
the contract for furnishing towing service of private vehicles
within the City in accordance with Specifications No MSP 8-32-2
is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf
of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resoluti :on was duly and regularly adopted and passed
by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 18th of October, 1983, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, L have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of said City this 19th day
of October, 1983.
