APPOINTING THE PERSONS NOMINATED AS TRUSTEES OF BAY
FARM ISLAND RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 2105
WHEREAS, pursuant to law the Secretary of the Board of
Trustees of Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No. 2105, at
least seven (7) days prior to the final date for receiving
Petitions, duly published notice that nominating petitions for
the office of Trustee would be received not later than 5:00 p.m.
on September 15, 1983;
WHEREAS, only two (2) petitions for office of Trustee
were filed by said time and date;
WHEREAS, the number of Trustees to be elected at said
election is two (2) and the number of nominees does not exceed
the number of Trustees to be elected;
WHEREAS, no petition requesting that the election be held
was presented to the Board of Trustees of said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 50740 of the Water Code
of the State of California, an election shall not be held in
Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No. 2150 on November 8,
1983, for the purpose of electing Trustees of said District.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 50741 of the Water Code,
the persons duly nominated for the positions of Trustees,
RAYMOND P. KRANELLY and FRANZ S. COLLISCHONN, are hereby
appointed to the office of Trustees of Bay Farm Island Reclamation
District No. 2105 for terms of four (4) years commencing
November 8, 1983.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1983,
by the following votes:
AYES: Councllmembers Gorman, Hanna, I1onsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
ABSENT: None.

was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of
November, 1983, by the following vote to wit:

NOES: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
ABSENT: None.
