AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL
SERVICES BY THE FIRM OF WILSON, MORTON, ASSAF &
McELLIGOTT FOR FORMATION OF A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is about to form a Landscape
Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, the formation of the District reauires legal
guidance and collaboration with City staff and consultants, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Wilson Morton Assaf and McElligott
has offered to provide said service for fees dependent upon the
successful formation of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and each hereby
is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respec-
tively, on behalf of the City, an agreement with the firm of
Wilson Morton Assaf and McElligott for its legal services in
connection with the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of
November, 1983, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President
Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 2nd day of November, 1983.
