APPROVING CONTINUATION OF CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE SERVICE TO CAGWIN AND DORWARD LANDSCAPE
AND ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS
WHEREAS, on November 17, 1981, the Council by adoption of
its Resolution No. 9641, authorized a contract with Cagwin and
Dorward, Landscape and Engineering Contractors, to provide
landscape maintenance service for specified parks and other turfed
areas of the City; and
WHEREAS, Cagwin and Dorward, Landscape and Engineering
Contractors, have agreed to perform said landscape maintenance
service for an additional one year period for the sum of $66,293.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has been fully informed in the matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that a continuation of the contract for landscape
maintenance service to Cagwin and Dorward, Landscape and Engineer-
ing Contractors, is hereby approved.
The undersigned hereby accept a one year continuation of
the existing contract between the City of Alameda and Cagwin and Dor-
ward Landscape and Engineering Contractors, as described in the fore-
going "City of Alameda Resolution No. 10216."
