AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH FLOYD H.
HYDE ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AN URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION
GRANT (UDAG) APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF ALAMEDA GATEWAY,
LTD.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is eligible to apply for and
receive UDAG funds from the Department of Housing and Urban
Development to trigger greater private sector investment locally;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has acceded to a request from Alameda
Gateway, Ltd. to prepare a UDAG application on their behalf; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Floyd H. Hyde Associates is experienced
in preparing successful UDAG applications on behalf of client
cities and has proposed such services to the City of Alameda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that staff is authorized to execute a contract
with Floyd H. Hyde Associates to prepare a UDAG application on
behalf of Alameda Gateway, Ltd. subject to the execution of a
reimbursement agreement for said services between the City of
Alameda and Alameda Gateway, Ltd., and subject to the City's
recertification for UDAG eligibility by the Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in
a regular meeting assembled on the 20th of December, 1983, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monse
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
