Resolution 10221CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10221 CONSENTING TO INCLUSION OF THE TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN THE FORMATION OF A COUNTY SERVICE AREA TO BE ESTABLISHED FOR THE PROVISION OF A VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAM WHEREAS, Section 25210.1 et seq. of the California Govern- ment Code enables the Board of Supervisors to create a County Service Area for miscellaneous extended services; and WHEREAS, after holding public hearing on the proposed Benefit Assessment District, and reviewing the County report and the proposed benefits, it appears that the proposed benefits are needed, and the City of Alameda should support the County Service Area; and WHEREAS, the passage of this resolution will allow the inclusion of the City of Alameda in the County-wide Service Area to be included on the June 5, 1984 ballot; and WHEREAS, there is no additional cost to the General Fund of the City of Alameda. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that consent is hereby given to the inclusion of the territory of the City of Alameda in the formation of the County Service Area to be established for the provision of a vector control program. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the 20th of December, 1983, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
