AWARDING CONTRACT TO P & F CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF WHEELCHAIR RAMPS AT VARIOUS
LOCATIONS, PHASE 3, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Construction of Wheelchair
Ramps, Phase 3, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 12-83-21,
approved January 3, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by P & F Construction, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the base bid sum of
$37,115.80; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the bid of P & F Construction, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract (base bid only) for construction of fifty-
eight wheelchair ramps is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of February, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 8th day of February, 1984.
