APPROPRIATING $6,195 FROM FUND BALANCE OF THE TIDELANDS
TRUST FUND FOR REPAIRS TO THE ENCINAL BOAT RAMP
WHEREAS, the Encinal Boat Ramp area requires extensive
clean up work after each storm; and
WHEREAS, certain preventative maintenance actions would
greatly reduce storm damage and the amount of time required for
clean up operations; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the required work can
be performed by the Public Works Department Maintenance Services
for the sum of $6,195; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that said
maintenance repairs be performed by City forces;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Public Works Department Maintenance Services
is hereby authorized to perform preventative maintenance work at
the Encinal Boat Ramp.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $6,195 is hereby
appropriated from the Tidelands Trust Fund to finance said work.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of February, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
