ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET TREE
PRUNING IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, Specifications and Plans have been prepared for
Street Tree Pruning in Various Locations in the City of Alameda,
numbered P.W. 2-84-2, and filed in the office of the City Clerk
on February 21, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby
approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock
p.m., on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 1984, for furnishing to the City of
Alameda all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Street Tree Pruning
in Various Locations in the City of Alameda", or similar designa-
tion.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provi-
sions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible
bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.

Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the Director of Public Works, at his office
in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance
with the provisions of this resolution and of said specifications
and plans.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of February, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Monsef - 1.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
