AWARDING CONTRACT TO RMT LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS FOR
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 81-1 HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK
PERIMETER LANDSCAPE AND AUTHORI'ZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Assessment District 81-1
Harbor Bay Business Park Perimeter Landscape, in accordance
with Specifications No. P.W. 2-84-1, approved February 21, 1984;
and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by RMT Landscape Contractors, agreeing to perform
said work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum
of $44,047.50; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the bid of RMT Landscape Contractors is
hereby accepted, the contract for Assessment District 81--1 Harbor
Bay Business Park Perimeter Landscape is hereby awarded to said
bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of April, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Lucas, Monsef and Vice President Hanna - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Diament - 1.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 4th day of April, 1984.
