AWARDING CONTRACT TO KUTCHES TREE SERVICE FOR STREET
TREE PRUNING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
Published notice calling for bids for Street Tree Pruning in
Various Locations in the City of Alameda, in accordance with
Specifications No. P.W. 2-84-2, approved February 21, 1984; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was sub-
mitted by Kutches Tree Service agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $47,523;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Kutches Tree Service is hereby accepted,
the contract for Street Tree Pruning in Various Locations in
the City of Alameda is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to
attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of April, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Lucas, Monsef and Vice President Hanna - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Diament - 1.
