APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT
4402 AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED PUBLIC STREETS
AND EASEMENTS (FRANCISCAN FINANCIAL CORPORATION,
SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of the
Alameda Municipal Code, there has heretofore been filed with and
approved by the Council a Tentative Map of that certain proposed
subdivision known as Tract 4402; and
WHEREAS, Franciscan Financial Corporation, a California
corporation, subdivider herein, has presented to the Council for
approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as Tract
4402, being a resubdivision of Lot 1, Block 3, Tract 3810, recorded
June 9, 1978 in Book 103 of Maps at Page 43, Alameda County Records,
and. Lot 49, Tract 3842, recorded June 28, 1949 in Book 112 of Maps
at Page 21, Alameda County Records, and located on Bay Farm Island
at Bridgeway Road and Aughinbaugh Way; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates certain non-exclusive
easements for public utilities and their appurtenances designated
"Public Utilities Easement" and "Storm Drain Easement," dedicated
to the public; and parcels of land designated as Sea View Parkway,
Brunswick Road, Sheffield Road, Stanbridge Court, Stanbridge Lane,
Sheffield Way, Nottingham Court, Nottingham Drive, Sherwood Lane,
Cheshire Court and Gainsborough Court, dedicated to the public
for the use and purposes of public streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 4402 be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements and parcels of
land dedicated to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of
the Public, for use in conformity with _he terms of the offers of
dedication.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of April, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
