APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR
URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT FUNDS ON BEHALF
OF ALAMEDA GATEWAY, LTD.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is currently eligible to
apply for and receive Urban Development Action Grant Funds
from the Department of Housing and Urban Development;
WHEREAS, Alameda Gateway, Ltd. has requested and the
City has agreed to prepare a UDAG application on behalf of
Alameda Gateway, Ltd;
WHEREAS, the City and developer have established a need
for S7,415,000 of UDAG funds, plus $50,000 for City adminis-
tration.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council
of Alameda that staff is authorized to submit an application
for $7,466"000 of UDAG funds to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development on behalf of Alameda Gateway, Ltd.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said application must be
submitted by April 30, 1984 to the Area Office of the Depart-
ment of Housing and Urban Development.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of April, 1984,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
